sorry!

Wow its been like two months since I last post a blog and I feel really bad!!!!! Nothing major is going on. My niece was born in May so that was exciting other that, I have no reson not to post.

My New Love

Ok so remember a couple blog post ago, I did a review on the Maybelline Fit Me Foundation. I said that I was going to buy another one because I bought the wrong color, well I didnt buy a new one. I don't like to waste my money and beside I forgot about the Revlon PhotoReady Liquid Foundation I bought for my sister is darker than me. She dont wear foundation often, so I decide to mix the two to create the perfect blend.

I Know what you all are think it two different brands and for two different purpose. Well for me it works and I love the finish product of it. The Fit Me is made to blend and that it does. I have no compliants and niether does my face.

But mixed two together its the perfect shade. I have to say I did use to much of the darker tone so I had to lighten it up a bit more

This my finished product. I love it, it is still very light weight and mix together it has an amazing full coverage. You guy, if you buy the wrong color just mix it and it will be okay. Dont waste more money on the product to coRrect your mistake. Plus if you buy a new one "What will you do with the old one?" nothing but let it sit in your drawer and waste away. 

Its Spring time

I have always been  into fashion. Its been a dream of mine since I was younger. I remember in 7th grade my English teacher had us do a "When I Grow Up..." project. The assignment was to pick out a career and then tell her what inspired you and list the steps to pursue that career. My career was being a wedding dress designer specializing in plus size gowns. I was in 7th grade and I made that decision and stuck with that career choice till 11th grade. I was a smart student A's and B's and the occasional C, I was involve is some clubs, not a sports type of person, I was a set designer for the school plays. I took Art all 4 years of high school. So you can tell my field of study was visual arts, always have been. But being a junior you have to begin your college search, though I love being creative my mind set has changed. I was being more realistic, considering all my options and trying to make the best plan for my future. So I gave up on my passion to become a designer. In the mist of trying to discover something new that I loved, I felt lost and i didn't know what to do. And I find myself look at conception and child birth things of that nature. I then realize this is something I really do enjoy and love. So I changed my major to biology and Early Childhood Education. I want to become an obstetrician or Paediatric Nurse and I wanted to own a daycare. These goals were more realistic for me and still are. Now 2 years after I graduated high school I really miss my first love fashion. I starting to get back involve  and GOSH!!!! I really do miss it. Being creative and expressing yourself, designing and styling people I love it. I cant express how much I LOVE doing this. Anyway, My point is when you find something that you truly love, I mean really love it's your passion, the thing that makes up smile everyday, realistic or not stick with it. Do not be afraid to follow your dreams. Do what makes you happy. Because your happiness is what really counts. It took me forever to realize this,but I have and I'm glad I did.

Now I'm back on track pursuing a career in Fashion as a Stylist. I'm a tripe threat Hair, Make-up, and Fashion, I do it all and I'm good at. I am self taught I have no shame in my game. There are not enough Full-Figure Divas in this world called Fashion. But now it does not matter because I am on the train head straight to my destination, and I am not about to change course again!!! St.Patty's Day

Sorry I'm a day late, but Happy St. Patrick's Day. This is how I did my Makeup, neutral eye with a hint of green and Green shadow on the bottom. My eye shadow are from BH Cosmetic(88 Matte Palette) and E.LF. cometics. Hope everyone had a good St. Patrick's Day!!!

Maybelline Fit Me Foundation

Today I bought the Maybellin Fit Me Foundation and Pressed Power. I was so excited to buy it because I do not own any foundation at all. So this is my very first foundation in my make-up collection. YAY!!! I purchased it at walmart for 6.48 (both items). My overall opinion is that I like it, it is great. Very lightweight does not feel like I have anything on. For me it has a medium coverage. The only thing I dont like about it,  because it was my misstake is theat the color do not match me skin tone. I thought I was a 320 Honey Beige (Liquid) but I guess not it is to light for my complexion. But I will keep it and go buy another soon. The Pressed Powder I bought in 355 Coconut, thats perfect. I wondered why the numbers didnt match, well I know now!!!! I do encourage you guys to buy it and try. I never wear foundation, I will not say I have flawless skin, but I do not have  problematic skin, the thing the gets to me about my skin is that its oily. I want to start incorporating foundation into my routine but I dont want to wear it everyday. I very comfort in my own skin and I love the way I look. I consider my self a natural beauty, I use make-up to enhance my natural beauty not to cover it up. I also include everything I for my make today. I did take pics on my face but I dont like the outcome of the photo so I did not include it. Til next time, stay fabulous!!!!!

D&G Glasses

I got my new pair of glasses by D&G a couple of weeks ago, but i just started wearing them this week. The funny thing about it is that when I went to go pick them up I did realize who they were made by, yes I know they were designer, but made by who I didnt have a clue. I always ask myself why were they so freakin expensive and now I know plus i had alot of things added to them like no scratch and tint, that help the price go up also. But I love them they make me look smarter.
